What is Safe Connect?
Safe Connect is a universal lanyard detection device designed to retrofit onto MEWPs.
Once installed, the system verbally instructs the operator to connect their harness carabiner. When correctly connected:
- The audible warning stops
- A high-intensity green LED begins flashing
- Ground personnel can clearly see that the operator is connected safely
The system is compatible with all carabiner clip types and fits virtually any MEWP.
